- Finalized a Capital Expenditure Project through the development of a cost-optimized asset replacement model for all assets in the company. This analysis leveraged 5 years of history to determine the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimizing asset replacement decisions
- Completed a Trailer Utilization Analysis determining the idle time of equipment between deliveries. This required the analysis of time series GPS data on each of the trailers. Data cleansing routines and standard equations implemented for automated reporting
- Developed an Operational Analysis of the Impact of a New Entrance to the main yard in a large NJ Warehouse. Determined large financial savings through the installation of a 2nd gate to route traffic. This analysis involved the collection of over 1 million data entries for switcher moves over a 3 year timeframe
- Analyzed the impact of a new California Energy law, WAIRE Program, requiring the use of electric equipment in California based warehouses. Non-compliance with this law would cost the company millions of dollars in annual fines. Determined the purchase of electric switchers at two at risk community Warehouses would eliminate all fines and provide more efficiency with lower maintenance and running expenses
- Culmination of Internship Project included:
- Developed Driver Recruitment: Campaign through increased social media presence and new social media pages targeting younger truck drivers
- Determined a new Targeted Location to support Strategic Expansion into new refrigerated goods and fresh foods transported from the Southern US and Mexico.
